April Fool's day Tradition
Brian and I ahve a personal joke about this April fool's day traditiona nd what better way to celebrate it is on April Fool's Day. I grew up and thinking it perfectly fine to receive underwear and socks for presents at Christmas and Birthday. Brian on the other hand HATED it! I made the point that it was easier for me to have a certain date that I knew when to buy underwear and socks for the kids once a year so we could keep on track on when they needed new ones. So we both came up with the APRIL fool's day. On April 1st of every year they will get new underwear and socks! Our kids were totally pumped!!! Let's see how long they stay pumped!
The day before Easter Fun with Grandpa and Grandma Anderson

We went to participate in the Parade at Buhl. The theme was "hats off to the children". We were supposed to dress up. So I dressed Garrett up as a soldier, Hannah as a princess and Natalie as a Fireman. I pulled the wagon and our sign said hats off to the men and women who make our dreams come true! It was a fun parade and at the end each of the kids got a blue ribbon! They were so proud of that blue ribbon!

Right after the parade we participated in the Buhl easter hunt. This was teh first time our kids had ever participated in anything like this. I explained to each of the kids what to do when the whistle was blown. Hannah caught right on and filled up her basket, Natalie was a clittle clueless so I wnet in and guided her what to do and then she caught on and got her bucket filled but Garrett, well lets just say within a metter of seconds the eggs were gone and Garrett was still trying to figure out what to do and then realized that he didn't get nothing! He THREW his bucket down and was so sad he didn;t get even ONE EGG! Hannah being so nice offered him one of her but he said "NO, I DON'T WANT ANY OF YOUR EGGS"! He was so sad and mad until a man who was in chrge asked him if he got any eggs and with tears he says NO! So the man gave Garrett some to put in his bucket. G&G Anderson and I thought it was rather funny of Garrett's scene but all in all everyone ended up happy in the end and we did have a good time!

After the parade and Easter Egg Hunt we thought we would drive down to Niagra Springs. The kids loved seeing the "pretty water" coming out of the Mountaina dn the fish in the fish hatchery.

Dying Our Easter EggsWe had a lot of fun dying easter eggs this year! Each kid could almost do it by themselves! They had so much fun choosing their own colors and putting them in their own craton.

Easter Morning

So the easter bunny visited our house and he pooped on our kitchen floor! The kids got a really BIG kick out of that! (SO DID DAD!!) Three ropes were tied to the fridge and led them to tehir easter baskets where they were hiding. In the fridge the Easter bunny left a note and some breakfast to eat!

Natalie 's Easter basket.

Hannah's Easter basket

Garrett's Eatser basket
Each child got eggs filled with candy, bubbles and a picture of Christ to put in their rooms.

They looked so cute in their Easter Clothes! First Easter to have matching dresses for the girls! The Girls and mom especially loved every minute of it! I made the girls matching bows to wear in their hair too! Garrett looked handsome and all grown up in his new chirch pants.

After church Brian was not feeling very well and stayed home but we went to my Uncle Kenney's house. The kids had a great great time!! Tahnk you Uncle Kenny and Aunt Ilene for the great hospitatlity!

All of the kids went on an easter egg hunt! Garrett was sure to pick up a couple of eggs at this one! My kids lost interest in the egg hunt really fast to the trampoline! It just was so much more enticing!
Garrett really likes Uncle Kenny! He wanted to be where ever he was and they soon found themselves relaxing on the couch! I thought it was so CUTE!
MORE TRAMPOLINE!

Katie and Andy Reminiscing about the eggs that color your lips! It was fun to remember old times! Cousins, food family gatherings! Fun! Fun!

By the end of the night the kids and I were exhausted! Garrett begged to go by the temple and then go home. How could I pass it up. What better place to se on Easter and remember our Savior Jesus Christ and the salvation he brings to all of us! It deffinatley completed EASTER!

Fifth Disease
Theses pictures just do not do justice! But for weeks we delt with this vaery bad looking rash! We didn't figure out what it was until the second Doctpor visit! But what a strange rash! Glad it was harmless and there was nothing then to wait it out!

Library 100th Birthday!
Our Library was celebrating it's 100th Birthday and invited all the community to come and dress up in their favorite book character and have cake and tour the Library! We had a blast! Garrett was Davey Crockett and the Girls were Fancy Nancy. We learned a lot about our Library and teh kids thought it wa so cool to eat CAKE IN THE LIBRARY!

After the birthday celebration I let the kids play in the park across the street and they got to pet the horses. They were doing rides but Mom had no MONEY! Garrett didn't want to pet them and Natalie was scared to death of them, Hannah had a lot of fun petting them and watching them though!

Just a FUN MONDAY!
Brian has Mondays off and is sceduled to work on Saturdays so it is like our Fun family Day! The weather was nice and we wanted an escape so we went down in the canyon to the park! We went on a long walk! We ate a picnic lunch and just had some good playing time!

"Where's Waldo Garrett?" Garrett was wearing a striped red shirt and with him vlimbing all over the mountains it was like trying to spot where's Waldo?

A funny story

WE live in a duplex house. We have a front entry and our neighbors have a back entry. WE both have a main floor and then a basement. Our neighbors have not been too happy with all the noise our family makes. WE really do try to cut down on all the noise. But a couple of nights ago we sit down fro our regular family dinner and Natalie (who is having trouble sitting in her chair and not tipping) completely tipped her chair over and took her plate spilling all her food all over the place. Well it also didn't just make a mess it made quite the commotion of noise. I couldn't help but laugh because I knew one of these days she would have to learn to NOT tip in her chair. Of coarse she didn't think it was funny. (BUT NEITHER DID OUR NEIGHBOR). Just minutes after her incident he turned up his music that literally the house was shaking and he yelled at the top of his lungs "OH, IS THAT LOUD?". Well then Brain and I really had a good laugh. What is a family to do? The last few times they got angry and start banging my kids were crying. I mean I can understand like noise from stereos, TV or running from the kids, these are all things we can control but crying and tipping in a chair. I mean come on! I did mention this to our LandLord and said we really are trying to not make noise but with kids noise is going to be made. He was really understanding and said that our neighbors have not complained to him about us yet. No they just bang, scream or turn up their stereo REALLY loud. So if you ahve any kind of advice I would like to hear it. Right now we just try to be nice and laugh it off.

Trying to catch up

So I know I have not been posting for a while and I have so MUCH to post but Our new computer is down and it has all of my pictures saved on it, so I want to wait until that is working to post so pretty much I have a lot of catching up to do when the new computer is up and running again.
