ST. PATRICK"S DAY

Wearing the GREEN!

My kids came into my room in the morning and I explained to them that it was St. Patrick's Day and we are supposed to wear green. If they don't wear green they get pinched but not too hard. Hannah was saved from her green "froggie" socks she was wearing, Natalie was saved by the green underwear she was wearing, Garrett was not saved so he got pinched like crazy from all of us girls until he went and put green on. I made cute green bows for the girls to wear and Garrett felt left out and he wanted a "boy" bow so we made him one to wear around his neck.

The kids could not wait for their Dad to get home so they could see if he was wearing green. NOPE he wasn't so the pinching began all the way to the kitchen where Brian found the St. Patrick's Day cup cakes we made and put it right on his face so he was wearing green. The kids and MOM thought it was so funny!!

St. Patrick's Day FUN!

We made rainbow cupcakes with green frosting and green sprinkles.

I made a puzzle for them. Hannah loved it the most!

Our Irish Dinner
Irish soda bread-Turned out so good! Very similar to a biscuit.

Found an Irish Recipe of Colcannon! Very good and hid more veggies that the kids loved eating!!!
We had a great Irish St. Patrick's Day!
My Mom sent this Irish blessing to us and I thought I would share it with all of you! It was so pretty and thoughtful! Hope you all know we love you! May you have a great ST. Patrick's DAY!
