Garrett's first attempt at shaving

Garrett has known for quite some time not to play with shavers. We have talked about it but I guess curiosity got the better of him. Especially one that was just in reach. My sister was staying with us and she had left her shaver right in eye sight in the kids bathroom. I went in the bathroom to Garrett out of the bath and he said, "Mom can I shave my face?" I said no and he responded with, "well, what if I already did?". I responded with "WHAT!!!" Yea I did mom he said and I cut my cheek a little. I couldn't pass up taking a picture and documenting Garrett's first shave!

Garrett lost his first tooth!

Wow, I have to agree with my sister-in-law about this one. It is hard when your first child looses their first tooth! It is monumental in their growth! He is such a big BOY! I love this kid and enjoy being with him so much it's just hard to see him grow up so fast!

My sister and I were busy with getting stuff unpacked and put in their place when all of a sudden I heard "YES, YES" from Garrett. He came running in and showed me his tooth! He was so excited!!! It has been loose for quite some time and he wasn't too sure if he wanted to loose his teeth. But then he learned about the tooth fairy and from that point he could not wait for the tooth fairy to come. He was just so excited he wanted to tell everyone!!

We have had this rocking horse for a while now but this is the first time it has been put in the girls room. They never had room for it! They still do not have much room in there but the girls love it more than Garrett. He has just out grown it! Hannah is loving it!!!! She is constantly on that thing in her new room. If she opens her door and opens the bathroom door she can see her self in the mirror. Her hair bounces and she loves looking at her self!

The other day I kept hearing this squeaky sound and I went back to Hannah's room and opened the door and found her all in in her princess sleeping beauty costume with the horse decorated in a pink scarf and necklace having the time of her life! It was so cute!

Made it to Oklahoma!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wowie what an adventure! We went to Utah on Sunday to say good bye to some family and break up the trip. The next day it took us 15 hrs to arrive in Denver. The next day it took us 16 hrs to finally arrive in OK. The trip was indeed long! I drove our van with the girls and Brian drove the moving van with Garrett and John (friend from Dell that was going to OK as well). We ahd walkie talkies and that helped the trip a lot!John and Brian practiced with Garrett the whole trip to count to 100. He did learn and got rewarded a dollar! He was so excited! We stopped at a gas station and he wanted to play a little video game. He was so excited! Each of the girls got to spend their dollars for being good and got a pretty necklace! I did get pulled over by the OK police. I swerved a little I guess according to the police officer. I think I was handing something over to the girls and he thought I was maybe a drunk driver! He said well mam it's obvious you are not a drunk driver you have a nice day! What a grand welcome to OK!

We arrived to our house late Tuesday Nov 3rd. We were greeted by 11 people from our ward to help us unload! They were so very NICE! They had pizza and drinks for us to eat they not only unloaded but they helped set up our table, set up beds and just were so very nice! It was awesome!

I never thought we would be living in OK. We actually like it here a lot so far! WE love our cute house! NO NEIGHBORS!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the first house we have actually rented that has had no body else living in it but us! It is so very NICE! The weather was absolutely gorgeous when we arrived! It was so warm we really needed to pull out the summer clothing! WE have a huge backyard! It is all fenced in and the kids love to play out there! Brian and I both love it too!

My sister Nicolette and my nephew Gabe flew in on Thursday the 5th to help us get all settled in! Nicolette was such great comfort and help! Coming to a totally new place and having three children and being pregnant can be very overwhelming but it wasn't that stressful at all with her around! Man can that girl WORK! She was taking care of the kids so that I could place things, she spray painted my book shelves ( I wish like anything I had pictures the spray paint actually got up her nose and it was so hilarious until we got smart and I gave her a hankie to put over her nose). She re-finished our coffee table, helped decorate and she helped me find my way around OK. What a wonderful sister I have! I hope she knows how much I love her and appreciated her stay! I loved seeing Gabe too! He is so cute! I love his smiles and laughter! Boy did the kids LOVE seeing him! It was like he had three babysitters around! I think by the end he was ready to be left alone for a while! He did enjoy doing everything they did and run around in our backyard!
Here are some pictures of our back yard
The girls tipped all the chairs in the yard for their Barbies to ride on as a train! It was so CUTE!
Garrett took his sisters and Gabe for a ride in the wagon around the yard!
Garrett being a silly cowboy!
Girls playing with their babies!
The yard is so very nice! We have our picnic table out there and a big bin of all the kids toys! They can actually ride their bikes in the grass and play play dough out on the picnic table! It is so much fun!

Visit with Grandma Pearl

WE loved being able to see Grandma Pearl as ofetn as we could because we were so close! The kids loved going to see her! (they got all the candy they could ever WANT!) WE sure do love her and will miss being so close!

Leaving Twin Falls

I loved Twin Falls. We saw so much family and had made such good friends! It was indeed hard to leave. G7G Rich came down to say good bye and deliver some appliances we needed. It was so fun to have them come and visit us! We had a GREAT Time! We will miss being so close! They got to come to church with us and see their Grand kids in the Primary program. Garrett and Hannah did a good job. Hannah's hair fell out and was so concerned with it she came off the stage and all the way in the back for me to fix it. It was pretty cute! Garrett was a little silly up there with another classmate until the teacher saw what was going on and moved them. He also had to go the bathroom and was signaling to us in the back to see if he could go. It was pretty funny. They sure were cute up there singing and saying their parts. It was a very hard day for me to be in the Primary Presidency seeing the Primary kids sing and say their parts. I came into the calling not knowing any of the kids but my own and then leaving knowing them all! It was indeed hard to say good bye!
