Hannah wanted to wear her best princess dress on her birthday. She asked her sister if she could wear one of her princess crowns.

For her Birthday dinner she asked for pancakes with bacon. She wanted to help make her dinner and she wanted to make a face on every one's pancakes! It was incredibly cute!

For her cake she wanted a princess purple one. WEll Brian and I both had to get creative but we came up with this. Similar to Natalie's cake but learned a better way to do it. She loved it!!

As soon as Hannah opened her presents she discovered she got her own crown from Her G&G Stoker. She immediatley gave Natalie's bcak and put her new one on!

She was so excited to open her presents!!
She felt like a true princess that day! She got to use her coloring desk and crayon and color lots of pictures the next day! She loved the books and clothes she got from her Granparents. She loved every minute of it!

Here are some videos of her Birthday!
I couldn't resist to put this one on! How Big they grow up!! and how fast it is too!!!

Thanksgiving

Garrett's Feast at school! This boy was so EXCITED for his Feast at school. That is all he talked about for a long time! I picked him up from school and I asked "how was your feast to day Garrett?" He replied with "I am not Garrett, I'm Squanto." He had made a head band, a bracelet, a necklace and a fall leaf and a Thanksgiving card. He couldn't believe he ate Turkey at school. Brian and I kept teasing him that if he was going to eat turkey at school he didn't have to have some at home. Garrett didn't want that to happen one bit! He loves Turkey! He had a good time and it was fun to see him so excited!

On thanksgiving day Brian actually had to work. He didn't have to go in until 10:00 so we got to eat a yummy breakfast before he left. I made pumpkin waffles with home made apple cider syrup. It was delicious!!!

Thanksgiving Day was a lazy and fun day for me and the kids. The kids got to play games, do some crafts, puzzles, watch Polar express and help me cook. I made most of our thanksgiving dinner this day so all we had to do was cook the turkey the next day.

This was our actual Thanksgiving Day Dinner. It wouldn't be the holidays without potato salad ( Brian's mom always made potato salad around family gatherings) and I made a veggie tray to eat over the weekend and hot dogs were easy!
The day after Thanksgiving we did a little shopping with the kids. It wasn't to bad. We came home and put the turkey in and watched a movie (Home alone) while the Turkey cooked.
After the movie we actually had our thanksgiving Feast. Mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, sweet potatoes, Turkey, Veggie tray and pies! My rolls didn't work out bummer! I thought I would try a new whole wheat recipe and that was a big mistake!! I will keep to my favorite roll recipe from now on!
It was yummy and the kids loved the food!
Natalie had to be excused because she was playing with her food but Garrett and Hannah got the chance to have all three pieces of pie after their dinner! I think they were in heaven!!

The pies I made this year was apple, banana cream and a chocolate mouse pie! Very YUMMY!!!

So cute how he talks about the thanksgiving feast!

Some updates on cute and Funny things from the Rich kids

Natalie and her Barbies! She loves playing with them!!

Garrett just being Garrett!

Garrett- We went to pick up Brian from work and he is out waiting for us and Garrett says "there is my dad with the bald head!"

Natalie-She calls her boo boos or owies her "bo bo's"

Hannah- She calls perfume pie'r-fume!

Garrett- One morning at breakfast I was telling Natalie to finish her milk, she did not want it and then asked Garrett if he would drink it. Oh yea sure, sure, says Garrett. Garrett then drank the milk and gags. "Mom there was chunks of egg in there!" he replied. It was pretty gross I do have to say but just a little funny! No more drinking after Natalie!

Hannah said the other day, "Mom, I am so HOT like the SUN!!!"

Garrett, Hannah and Natalie love playing bad guy and good guy. Natalie is always the BAD GUY! It's kind of funny! But Big brother and Big sister make her always be the bad guy but she is completley okay with that!
Garrett has just started to really care about his looks! He wants to wear hats turned around because he is a DUDE! He wants to wear cool clothes, he also likes his hair spiked! He calls it his Dino Do.

Garrett hurt his knee the other day and I was kind of getting worried about it. Brian wanted to see if he was really hurt or just playing it up so he said watch this. Brian proceeded to tell him well Garrett when your knew feels better maybe we will go to Chucky Cheese. Garrett immediately got up from the couch where he was groaning and simply refrained from groaning anymore and walked around the room showing us he was all better and that we could go to chuck cheese. My worried then and there vanished! We did not get to go to Chucky Cheese but told the kids we would probably around Christmas time. It was pretty funny to see Garrett's reaction!

Sweet and innocent looking huh? Well the truth be told she is eating an apple I told her NOT to eat because I was saving it for Thanksgiving apple pie! The little STINK!

Natalie loves to ride on her brothers back. She is constantly crawling up there and Garrett is so patient that he lets her and gives the ride of her life!

Garrett and Hannah pretended to be musketeers! It was a sight to see!!

Garrett's first attempt at shaving

Garrett has known for quite some time not to play with shavers. We have talked about it but I guess curiosity got the better of him. Especially one that was just in reach. My sister was staying with us and she had left her shaver right in eye sight in the kids bathroom. I went in the bathroom to Garrett out of the bath and he said, "Mom can I shave my face?" I said no and he responded with, "well, what if I already did?". I responded with "WHAT!!!" Yea I did mom he said and I cut my cheek a little. I couldn't pass up taking a picture and documenting Garrett's first shave!

Garrett lost his first tooth!

video

Wow, I have to agree with my sister-in-law about this one. It is hard when your first child looses their first tooth! It is monumental in their growth! He is such a big BOY! I love this kid and enjoy being with him so much it's just hard to see him grow up so fast!

My sister and I were busy with getting stuff unpacked and put in their place when all of a sudden I heard "YES, YES" from Garrett. He came running in and showed me his tooth! He was so excited!!! It has been loose for quite some time and he wasn't too sure if he wanted to loose his teeth. But then he learned about the tooth fairy and from that point he could not wait for the tooth fairy to come. He was just so excited he wanted to tell everyone!!
